Does changing the state change the output impedance?
Last Updated a year ago

Question:

On the specification sheet, the iCan appears to have a low output impedance (under 1 ohm for single-ended and under 2 ohms for balance). I'm using the balanced output only. Does changing the mode from solid-state to tube or tube+ increase the output impedance so that it becomes greater than 2 ohms? Or even in both tube modes, is the output impedance still maintained at a low value of below 2 ohms?

Answer: The iCan Pro output impedance varies very little with with different modes.
